Pressfiles by Teacher Ira is operated by Brian Escuadro, a DTI-registered sole proprietor, who is the Personal Information Controller responsible for the personal information collected through this site. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you browse the shop, register an account, place an order, book a mentorship session, or otherwise interact with this site. We collect only what we need to process your order, run your account, and provide support:

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (e.g. health records, government IDs, religious or political affiliation) and you should not submit any such information through this site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with the service providers necessary to run the shop, each acting on our instructions:

Payments themselves are sent directly by you to our GCash, Maya, or bank account — we do not use a third-party payment gateway that collects your card or account credentials. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a government authority such as the National Privacy Commission.

5. How We Protect Your Information

No online system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we apply reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical, and technical measures proportionate to the personal information we hold.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, for as long as your account is active, or as needed to satisfy legal, tax, and accounting record-keeping obligations under Philippine law. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take steps to delete or de-identify it, or we do so promptly upon a verified deletion request (see Your Rights below).

Pressfiles is intended for adult buyers, primarily educators purchasing digital teaching materials. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
